The Nashville Farmers' Market is home to 70+ farmers and artisans in our outdoor market, 20+ restaurants and businesses in our indoor food hall and host of many events and festivals celebrating seasonal agriculture every year. One of our primary directives, of course, is to bolster the local food system by providing a space for local food growers and makers to connect directly with the Nashville population to provide access to nutritional food. The entire facility and all of its business participate in a composting and recycling program and several of our farms contribute to gleaning initiatives that benefit local food security work. Additionally, our Market offers different food incentive programs, including a SNAP dollar doubling program called Fresh Bucks. For one week in Novemeber, NFM celebrates Foodsgiving Week with a focus on food justice, security and sovereignty work happening in Davidson county.
