Description
The Mission of Larkspur Conservation is to preserve and restore land across Tennessee through a revival of natural burial practices that heal the earth and offer sanctuary.

Larkspur Conservation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization operating Tennessee’s first conservation burial ground. Only green burials are allowed to take place on this hallowed ground, significantly reducing the impact on the surrounding ecosystem. Larkspur’s aim is to do more than reduce harm; our goal is to heal. By establishing a conservation easement on the property, Larkspur has saved and protected its land in perpetuity. It will forever be the natural, wild place that it is today.

Every burial at Larkspur is an act of healing. With each burial the land is restored to breezy native prairie meadows and lush forested hills. Each burial contributes to providing green space for the community to explore, clean air, and clean water. It is the ultimate legacy to leave for future generations.
