Litter Clean-ups: Our community clean-ups provide participants the resources needed to safely remove litter from urban, suburban, and rural areas around Chattanooga on a monthly basis. Since beginning our program in 2017, we've removed 800,000 pounds of litter from the region!

Education: Presentations and interactive activities can be scheduled for all age groups that focus on municipal solid waste, recycling, composting, and sustainable living tips.

Litter Stations: Over 50 litter stations are located around Chattanooga, stocked with biodegradable dog waste and litter bags, enabling community members to remove litter while recreating.

“It has always astounded me that litter even exists. How could someone be so disconnected from their actions that they couldn’t wait to find a trash can? When I was 10 years old, I used to walk around my neighborhood and pick up trash, knowing that it was the least I could do to make an impact with my own two hands. I would have never guessed that nearly 20 years later, I’d be the leader of an organization that does just that. I’m so grateful that I followed my passion which led me to the important work that I’m a part of today. We can ALL do our share to make litter a thing of the past.”

Jimmy has a Bachelor’s of Environmental Science- Policy & Planning from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga and has worked in conservation since 2015. He advocates for both human and non-human animal rights, plant-based eating, yoga, and other mindfulness practices.
