Friendly Arctic Printing and Design is an Eco-Friendly Screen Printing shop in East Nashville, specializing in exclusively Water-Based inks and sustainable apparel partnerships. We use Permaset Aqua inks for both garment printing and poster printing, instead of the industry-standard oil-based Plastisol inks. These water-based inks are both better for the environment, as well as the printers in the shop, and they create a longer-lasting superior-feeling print so your customers will want to hold onto their t-shirts forever! Water-based inks also don't require harsh chemicals for cleanup, just water! For screen reclaiming, we use only the most eco-friendly options available, as well.
We also steer our customers as often as possible towards sustainable garment brands like Royal Apparel, ONNO Hemp, EConscious Apparel, and Bella+Canvas. We re-use our misprints as test print garments, and we upcycle misprints for donations to local clothing drives. For our webstore/retail packaging we use recycled/reusable Eco Enclose mailers as well.
