Compost Nashville is Nashville’s residential and commercial organic waste collection service. Since 2014 it has grown to service more than 1,600 homes, restaurants, coffee shops, and offices. With the mission to “Grow Food, Not Landfills” as their guiding philosophy, Compost Nashville closes the food loop by keeping food waste out of our landfills and returning finished compost back to the community to help promote local and sustainable food sources. Residential customers earn compost twice a year, which is delivered to their doorstep for use in their gardens. Commercial customers reduce their waste footprint while knowing the compost created from their waste is going back to support local farms and community gardens. Everyone has the chance to make a difference in our community, and Compost Nashville makes doing so simple and easy.
